Havreholm Slot’s cuisine is founded on the classic basic principles, but with a personal touch and professional pride. The cuisine also keeps pace with developments in the gastronomic universe, even though it is hard to predict what trends the future may bring.
At Havreholm Slot we play with both Scandinavian and French cuisine, but draw inspiration from contemporary trends, thus giving the food our own special something. This means that our menus are seasonal and created from scratch – naturally with lots of love – whether we are talking about pickling, baking or other preparations. The kitchen is innovative and uncompromising. We concentrate on taste and visual impression in our quest for perfection.
The quality of the ingredients we use is of great importance for our food. So we ourselves forage in the area’s woods and on the nearby beaches for many of the wild herbs, which grace our food with both expression and taste. We also take pride in supporting small, local producers of fruit, vegetables and dairy products.
We care about ecology and use organic ingredients whenever we can. We purchase our dairy products from the local organic dairy, and our grains and flours are also as organic as availability permits.
This all provides great inspiration and we can ensure that Havreholm Slot’s guests always get the very best gastronomic experience.
